Rave on air complete

took my animation to broadcasting on thursday. A boy called luke sorted out my jelly for me. So all is good now. all i need to do is sit back and wait to see if it passes quality control if it does then ill be so happy as i might be the only one in the class that manages to get on TV

progress update!

another oldish project update. i removed the animatic from the chart as i didnt do an animatic in the end as i didnt need it. Also i changed some of the days on the chart to what i actually did them in.

ROA Edit complete!

well its finished. All my hard work has paid off. What i have achieved this project is a very good quiality clear simple animation. its by far the best thing i have made this year which i am very pleased about. Every project i seem to get better in some way, and this project i think its been on my modeling and animation. Id like to thank alec for doing the lighting in this, as i didnt do it. Hopefully this will pass for rave on air, and will be shown on tv is what i hope. So far its looking as i will be the only one ready for rave on air quality control hand in?. next time i do a jelly animation though i want a better rig to the jellys rather then just squash bend and stretch. Also having simple black eyes on the jellys would be good also.

Renders finished!

yes my animation is now completed. I am very happy with it, and i must say its my best work so far on this whole course. up on level with the mansion project i did in the first term. today i rented out the sound fx harddrive to some sounds ready for next week. I got some good ones done so im happy. next week monday and tuesday is sound recording and film editing so that i can hand in my animation for roa on wensdsay the 26th wish me luck

new floor and jelly studios logo done!

all is nearly complete now. just need to do last shot and render that out. all renders are now at 1024 by 576 now. i really like the look of it. Its fresh clean and simple colours i think that people will like to look at. ty again alec for showing me how to get the logo in the background on an alpha in maya =)

shot 4 completed!

shot 4 is complete. just need to add the glow inside the blue jelly. Also the background colour changes, but this can easily be fixed. going to start the last shot now =). also next week i will render out the whole thing properly. with a new background floor i hope.
